I am excited to be your 7th grade Science teacher this year. Students should be ready for both a challenging and stimulating year . On the website you will find links to several resources that will help you throughout the year. Please make sure that you check often to make sure you know what we are doing in class so we can accommodate your learning experience.

Homework
We can't learn if we don't question.
We are working towards a classroom culture where students come in ready to ask questions and get into deep discussions about science and how things work. In order to attain this culture, it is VERY IMPORTANT that you check this website regularly for homework videos and articles that will get you thinking and prompt you to ask good questions!
Students can expect homework at least once a week. It is important that students do this homework before they get to class. Our 7th grade Science classrooms will start to move towards a flipped classroom throughout the year. This means that students will have to read or listen to lecture type material outside of class so that when they come into class they can do guided practice with the teacher. See the video below for more information on a flipped classroom.
